When your braces come off, the retention phase begins. Arguably this is the most important stage of all, and lasts a minimum of 24 months. Dr. Ralph has a broad view of retention, and will tailor a protocol individualized for each patient, depending on his or her needs. The range of appliances goes from removable retainers to glued-in permanent retainers.
